The Liquid Feed Symposium is the only educational program, networking forum and related industry exposition of its kind.  The event is specifically aimed at manufacturers of liquid supplements, ingredient suppliers for liquid supplements and equipment manufacturers or supporting companies to this unique and growing industry.  Decision-makers in the liquid feed field will be present to gain the latest information on trends, markets, potential regulatory issues, research, marketing techniques and other relevant topics.

The theme of this year’s event is “Sustainability in the Face of Ongoing Challenges.”  Experts from business, government and academia will speak on a variety of relevant topics.  Expect presentations by Dr. Dan McChesney of the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Veterinary Medicine, AFIA’s Richard Sellers and industry speakers addressing ingredient and nutritional advances.  The keynote speaker will be Bruce Vincent, a motivational speaker and businessman who has given speeches throughout the world, testified before Congress on natural-resource issues and appeared on several news programs such as “60 Minutes.”

The symposium also will feature the Liquid Feed Trade Show where manufacturers, suppliers and industry-support companies will exhibit their products.  In addition, an awards luncheon on Sept. 15 will feature the induction of an industry leader into the Liquid Feed Hall of Fame.

A welcome reception will kick off the event Tuesday, Sept. 14; and the Conference begins Wednesday morning, Sept. 15, at the Best Western GranTree Inn in Bozeman. A slate of industry experts will address the opportunities and challenges facing today’s beef producers. The tour will begin later in the day with an evening meal at KG Ranch, Three Forks.

Two full days of tours are planned in the region on Thursday and Friday. In addition, several other producers will be displaying cattle at the scheduled stops.

The South Montana Angus Association will host a golf tournament Wednesday morning preceding the conference. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. at the Bridger Creek Golf Course, Bozeman.
